Privacy Policy

StockTrace Audit Log processes operational Shopify inventory data so merchants can review observed stock changes.

Data processed

• Store domain and app session data.
• Product identifiers, product titles, variant identifiers, SKUs, barcode if available, vendor, and product status.
• Inventory item identifiers, inventory level quantities, before/after quantity snapshots, and inventory change deltas.
• Location identifiers and location names only. The MVP does not need location address or phone fields.
• App settings, billing status, sync job status, export job status, webhook metadata hashes, review signals, and operational logs.

Data not requested

• No customer names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.
• No order data and no protected customer data.
• No inventory write access and no theme, storefront, or checkout changes.

The app records observed inventory quantity differences using Shopify inventory data. Shopify may not provide staff actor or exact reason for every event. Privacy webhooks are supported, and merchants can request deletion.
